1. The Doctrine of Natural Variation and Authenticity

ManiMonk specializes in products derived from the natural world, including gemstones, Rudraksha, and sacred woods. The purchaser acknowledges that such items possess inherent characteristics such as internal inclusions, color zoning, and organic asymmetry. These are not "defects" but rather verified hallmarks of natural authenticity. By completing a purchase, the customer waives the right to a return based on subjective aesthetic variations.

2. The Spiritual Sanctity and "Prana Pratishta" Exclusion

Products that undergo "Abhimantrit" (Energization) or "Siddh" rituals are prepared specifically for the soul and name of the individual seeker. Under the "Bespoke and Personalized Goods" exemption of global e-commerce law, these items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable once the ritual process has been initiated. A ritual is deemed "initiated" 60 minutes after order placement.

3. The 60-Minute "Golden Hour" Cancellation Hard-Stop

ManiMonk operates an automated fulfillment system to ensure rapid dispatch. Cancellation requests are only permitted within a 60-minute window from the timestamp of order placement. Once this window expires, the order is locked into the logistics queue and cannot be recalled, cancelled, or modified under any circumstances.

4. Mandatory "Zero-Video, Zero-Claim" Evidence Protocol

To maintain supply chain integrity and combat fraudulent "damage claims," ManiMonk enforces a non-negotiable Unboxing Video Mandate. A continuous, unedited, high-definition video must be recorded starting from the 360-degree inspection of the unopened, sealed package (showing the shipping label) to the discovery of the defect. Failure to provide this specific evidence renders any claim null and void.

5. The 24-Hour Statute of Limitations for Reporting

Any discrepancies regarding an order—including physical damage, missing components, or incorrect SKU delivery—must be formally reported to ManiMonk Support within exactly 24 hours of the delivery timestamp recorded by our courier partner. Claims filed after this 24-hour window are considered "post-delivery handling issues" and are ineligible for review.

6. Ritual Purity and Hygiene-Sensitive Exclusions

To ensure the Shuddhi (purity) required for spiritual practice, certain categories are strictly non-returnable once the original tamper-evident seal is breached. This includes all spiritual apparel (Dhotis, Shawls) and personal jewelry (Nose pins, Earrings). Once these items are removed from their protective packaging, they are considered "spiritually and hygienically consumed."

7. Irrecoverability of Service-Rendered Costs

The customer acknowledges that certain fees are "consumed" upon dispatch. These include original shipping charges, Cash on Delivery (COD) convenience fees, and gift-wrapping charges. In the event of an approved refund, these specific amounts will be deducted from the total, as they represent fees paid to third-party providers that ManiMonk cannot recover.

8. Payment Gateway Transactional Deductions

All transactions are processed through secure third-party gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.). These providers charge a non-refundable transaction fee (approx. 2.5% to 4%). For any refund approved at the customer’s request (e.g., a "goodwill" cancellation), these gateway fees will be deducted from the final refund amount.

9. Size Exchange "Goodwill" Framework

ManiMonk provides precise measurement charts for all wearable items. Size-related issues do not constitute "defects." However, ManiMonk may allow a one-time exchange, provided the customer pays a flat Processing and Re-shipping Fee of ₹200 (Domestic) or the actual shipping cost (International).

10. International "Importer of Record" Responsibilities

For orders shipped outside India, the customer is legally the "Importer of Record." It is the customer’s sole responsibility to pay local Import Duties, VAT, or Customs Clearance fees. Refusal to pay these duties results in the forfeiture of the order, and no refund will be issued for "Refused by Importer" returns.

11. Finality of Promotional and Clearance Sales

Items purchased during "Flash Sales," "Warehouse Clearance," or using "BOGO" (Buy One Get One) codes are classified as Final Sale. These items are sold at deep discounts and are ineligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges, except in the documented case of verified transit damage.

12. Irrevocability of Digital and Consultative Services

Intangible services, such as Astrology consultations, Numerology reports, and Ritual bookings, involve professional labor and intellectual property. These are "consumed" the moment the report is generated or the session commences and are 100% non-refundable.

13. Reverse Logistics Accountability Chain

If a return is authorized, the legal "burden of care" remains with the customer until the item is physically received at our warehouse. ManiMonk is not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit. We strongly recommend using trackable, insured courier services for all authorized returns.

14. Force Majeure and External Disruptions

ManiMonk is absolved of liability for delays in delivery or return processing caused by "Acts of God," pandemics, civil unrest, strikes, or sudden government shifts in export/import regulations. Standard timelines are suspended until normalcy is restored.

15. The Right to Refuse Service and Blacklist Policy

To protect our staff and community, ManiMonk reserves the right to refuse service to any individual. We maintain a "Customer Credibility Index" and may permanently blacklist customers who demonstrate patterns of "Refused COD Deliveries" or fraudulent claims.

16. Fraudulent Chargeback and "Friendly Fraud" Protection

Filing a chargeback with a bank before attempting to resolve the issue with ManiMonk is a breach of these Terms. ManiMonk aggressively defends all chargeback claims by providing IP logs and delivery proofs to the banking institution.

17. Governance of Store Credit and Wallet Balances

In many instances, refunds for COD orders are issued as ManiMonk Store Credit, valid for 365 days. Store credit is non-transferable, cannot be converted into physical currency, and expires automatically if not utilized within the one-year timeframe.

18. Integrity of Sacred Consumables

All consumable spiritual products—Puja oils, Agarbatti, Camphor, and Teertham—are strictly non-returnable once they leave our facility. This ensures that no contaminated or tampered products are ever reintroduced into our sacred inventory.

19. Cyber-Security and Delivery Accuracy

The customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping data. ManiMonk is not liable for "Failed Delivery" attempts resulting from incorrect phone numbers or addresses. Redirection of a package in transit may incur a ₹100 redirection fee.

20. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any claim arising from a ManiMonk purchase shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. By placing an order, you waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

21. Third-Party Marketplace Purchases

This policy applies exclusively to purchases made via official ManiMonk portals. For items purchased through third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Etsy, etc.), the return/refund policies of those specific platforms shall take precedence.

22. Limitation of Liability

ManiMonk’s total liability for any claim, whether in contract or tort, shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product in question. ManiMonk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

23. Alterations and Modifications

ManiMonk reserves the right to modify these 25 points of policy at any time without prior notice. The policy in effect at the time of your order placement will govern your transaction.

24. Acknowledgment of "Energized" Processing

By selecting an "Energized" option, the customer provides explicit consent for ManiMonk to perform rituals in their name, acknowledging that this process fundamentally alters the commercial returnability of the product.

25. Final Declaration of Consent

By clicking "Confirm Order" or "Pay Now," you certify that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Master Operating Policy in its entirety.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
